WARNINGS, CANDLE , WAX MELT CARE

WARNING ALL THE CANDLES & WAX MELTS ARE NOT EDIBLE. DO NOT EAT!

Please keep out of reach of babies, children and animals. To prevent fire and serious injury, always burn candles and wax melts within sight. Never burn a candle or wax melt on or near anything that can catch fire.

FOR WAX MELTS SCOOPIES, MINI HEARTS, HOOPS & MINI BEARS.

Remove the desired amount of wax melts from there containers depending on the desired scent strength. Add to your burner , do not over fill your burner, some scents are stronger then others so add to your burner accordingly. Always place your burners on a fire- resistant surface that is level. Never leave your burner out of sight. And please only use 4 hr tea lights in your burners with our wax melts.

FOR CANDLES/ HOW TO BURN YOUR CANDLE SAFELY.

Place your candle on a stable, heat resistant surface. Light your candle in a well ventilated room and avoid any drafts, wind or humidity which can cause the candle to soot ( black marks on the vessel), or cause rapid, erratic and uneven burning.

upon burning your candle for the first time, make sure the melt pool has reached the edges of the vessel. This could range between 2-4 hours. Burning for less time could cause the candle to “ tunnel”, also known as Candle Tunnelling, which will leave a build up of wax around the sides of the candle. Wax has a ,memory’. If you only allow a small pool of wax to melt, subsequent burns will also burn to the same diameter thus creating a tunnel in the candle.
However, we suggest after the first burn to only light your candle for a maximum of 4 hours at one time as longer periods can cause the wicks to move, slant or soot the jar. For safety we recommend that you leave at least a 10mm of wax at the bottom of your vessel prior to disposal.

HOW TO CARE FOR WICKS

When your candle is lit, always keep the wax pool clean of any debris as this can act as a secondary wick causing your candle to burn faster. After extinguishing the flame always centre and straighten the wick as burning for longer periods of time will deepen the melt pool and can cause the wick to slant.
long of slanted wicks can create high flames, smoking or soothing. To prevent this we suggest trimming the wick to 5mm after every burn, once the wax has set. If the wicks are left un trimmed, any future burns will be less fragrant.
